Ease of Use:  

eCleaner is excellent as far as ease-of-use goes.

eCleaner is excellent as far as installation and setup goes.

Privacy Effectiveness:  

It supports Internet Explorer/MSN and that is all. eCleaner supported no additional plugins, far lower than most of the products reviewed. A plugin is a small piece of interface software that allows your computer to erase the history of the last used files within certain desktop applications like image viewers, graphical editors, chat, email, readers, etc.

Feature Set:  

Even though eCleaner was missing quite a few of the Windows cleaning functions that most of the other products had, it did have some good options of scheduling cleaning on a pre-determined schedule or at startup of the computer. There were no visible online updates. Technical support is handled through email/online forms.

Help/Documentation:  

Its biggest weaknesses are lack of good help and documentation and a shortage of features compared to the other products.

Summary:  

Overall, eCleaner is a very good product with a few weaknesses. With its ease-of-use and if additional cleaning features were added, this product could become one of the better products in the marketplace. Compared to the other products' privacy effectiveness, it just wasn't as strong.
