Ease of Use:  

Privacy Protector is an easy product to use.

Ease of Installation/Setup:  

Privacy Protector is a very easy application to install and setup on your computer. This program is Vista and Explorer 7 compatible.

Privacy Effectiveness:  

Privacy Protector lacks many of the features that other types of privacy software has. In order to be really effective in protecting your computer some of these features are required.

Feature Set:  

Even though Privacy Protector does an excellent job of implementing the plugins, there are only 27 plugins available. A plugin is a small piece of interface software that allows your computer to erase information like the history of the last used files within desktop applications like browsers, email, instant messaging, chat, P2P, image viewers, graphical editors, etc. Privacy Protector is one of the few products that support all major browser plugins including MSN, IE, AOL, Netscape, Mozilla, and Opera.

Privacy Protector is one of the few privacy software applications that allow you to run the application in a stealth mode, meaning that the application is hidden from anyone using your computer.

Help/Documentation:  

The help documentation that was available was good. It responded to all the major issues that comes with privacy software.

Summary:  

Overall, Privacy Protector is a very good product. Privacy Protector doesn't have as many options and features as some of its competitors, but it does have features that many of the others don't offer.
