A plugin is a small piece of interface software that allows your computer to erase the history of the last used files within certain desktop applications like image viewers, graphical editors, chat, email, readers, etc.

Feature Set:  

Windows Trace Remover's Internet browser cleaning features included auto-complete, cache (Temporary Internet Files), cookies, and downloaded files. The windows cleaning features included index.dat files, media player history, MS Office history, recycle bin, and scanning of disk temporary files. It also had cleaning options available at startup and with the ability to schedule. Windows Trace Remover allowed you to overwrite files from 1-9 times and allowed you save valuable cookies. The product supports Internet Explorer/MSN, Netscape Navigator, AOL/Compuserve, Opera, and Outlook Express.

Help/Documentation:  

The help document was average, but there technical support availability includes Email/Online forms. Supported environments for Windows Trace Remover include XP, NT4, 2000, ME, and 98. No online update capabilities were available.
